This guide is for accomplishing the same goal, but with items that are much cheaper than you�ll see in the standard smiter guide. Yes, I know there are already several smiter guides for fighting in Uber Tristram, but that�s not the point of this guide. It's designed for getting uber smiters made cheaply, and more importantly, quickly! Later in the ladder season, things will get much cheaper and then of course you can upgrade as your wealth increases. I've also been getting a lot of questions along the lines of 'Why use (this) instead of (that)?' I can guarantee that 9 times out of 10, the answer to your question is as follows: Because this is a low-budget guide, with items that can be easily found or made. Also see the additional note at the end of the guide for EVEN CHEAPER substitutions in co-op games! Much of the guide remains the same as it was already rather cheap to begin with, but certain key pieces of the build have been changed to be even cheaper, for the early ladder players starting over from scratch.
